This is a village on the left bank of the Kama river at 55 km from Perm.

The first settlement appeared in Ust-Kachka in 1669. The village actually developed by the XX century when hydrosulfuric springs were found in this area. Then a big health centre with therapeutic mud baths and hydropathic establishments appeared here. Today thousands of people come here to improve their health.

By the XVIII century there was a Stroganovs’ stud farm in Dvortsovaya Sludka village (this is a part of the Ust-Kachka settlement). Till now there’s a horses breeding farm near the village. In the Krasny Voskhod village there’s an equestrian school “Reprise” for all comers.

You can reach Ust-Kachka by car or by bus regularly going from Perm.
