This is one of the biggest micro-districts of Perm. It’s situated far enough from the centre of the city on the right riverbank of Kama in Kirovsky district.

An active development of this place began by the 1930s uniting formerly existing separate settlements. This micro-district is mainly situated along the Kama river and has its own official city beach.

You can see the history of Zakamsk development in the architecture of Kirovogradskaya street buildings. This is one of the oldest and the longest street of the micro-district. There you can find fret-worked wooden houses, 2-story brick and slag stones buildings as well as “Khrushchev buildings” and modern high-rise buildings.

Zakamsk main enterprises are Perm Powder Mill named after Kirov and JSC “Sorbent”.

The public bus circulation is linking Zakamsk to the centre of Perm.
