Пермь, ул. Петропавловская, 25а
Perm - 1km

This is the building of the Perm Opera and Ballet Theatre named after Pyotr Tchaikovsky.

This building at 25A Petropavlovskaya street was donated to the theatre in 1879. It was built by charitable donations of Perm citizens with architectural design of Rudolf Karvovsky in Old Russian classicism style. By the mid-XX century the repertoire and the troupe of the theatre were too wide and the building was submitted to a large re-construction – new annexes were built around the main house.

Before the façade of the theatre you can see a park with a fountain – this is one of the oldest and most beautiful sites of Perm. In the park, you can find sculptures of Vladimir Lenin and Boris Pasternak.
